Welcome to my gallery.
I paint my adventures in a mixed media world of textures, colors and imagination. Enjoy.
Throughout the years I've had several excellent teachers and mentors and have been inspired by brilliant artists like Chagall, Modigliani, Picasso, De Kooning and Richard Diebenkorn. My collection of work includes abstracts that are about the intermingling of line, shape, and color. But often, abstract figures emerge—some more quietly than others. I create both small and large works on paper, wood, and canvas. My abstract work often integrates texture, papers, glass, stone and more. Creating exciting color palettes is fundamental to my work. Once I find colors that resonate, lines, marks, and shapes follow. I find that random happenings, a paint spill on canvas, can spur the beginning of a whole new series.
