What starts with an idea can quickly mushroom into a BIG event. And perhaps this moment of spontaneity and subsequent fury to get it up on going will be something bigger than we first envisioned a couple of weeks ago.
On June 7th & 9th, two women artists will exhibit their art while also supporting and donating some of the proceeds to The Girls Leadership Organization. In the words of the organization their goal is to "equip girls with the skills to exercise the power of their voice".
We could (and may be we should have LOL) planned this a long, long time ago but then we were sitting in our studios surrounded by canvasses and color and went with our own vision a la Nike of "Let's Do It".
So, if you haven't gotten an invite just know we are going with the flow of the moment. We are empowering creatives, women, girls and we are doing it with color, beauty and a fun couple of days.
